To Honor His Memory

With word that my wonderful grandpa passed away just before Thanksgiving, we immediately planned our trip to be in Oregon to honor his memory.  He is dearly missed by the family.  So glad he was able to spend time with Collin and Celeste before his passing.  He was so good with little ones.

The whole family gathered for dinner.

You can see, it was a bit cold.

 

The service was short and sweet.  John sent the most beautiful flowers.  Very sweet.

The final resting place of Charles Soule.  On a quiet hill overlooking 

the beauty he had enjoyed for so many years.

Before leaving the state we always make a trip to Stayton to visit a family from Mark's mission.  It was a good visit.  They even took Collin to see the fire station.
