Nana's Fall Festival

Although we showed up a little late to play with all the cousins, we ended up getting nana all to ourselves.  Collin played and we had lunch.  Mark even won a silent auction basket full of golf stuff.

San Diego Week of Fun

Kinda last minute we decided to run off to San Diego.  Mark always makes a point of seeing the sun set on the beach.  Got that checked off the list the first night in.  The drive wasn't too bad in our new mini van.  The DVD player helped a lot.

Disgusting beyond words, even though I know I did it as a kid too, Collin wanted to eat the sand.

Topped off the night with a few rides.

The next day was spent at the San Diego Wildlife World Zoo.

Collin won't say no to an offer of a stamp!

The elephants are always one of Collin's favorites.

The next day we spent exploring Sea World.  The Sesame Street rides were fun.

Collin really grew attached to these penguins.  Of course he had to take them home.

That night we walked around the San Diego Temple.

The next day was spent at the zoo.

On the bus.  Too much walking at this zoo.  We were all tuckered out.  But, we made our way over to Old Town before heading back to the hotel so we could visit the Mormon Battalion Visitor Center and get some dinner.

Our last day was spent back at Sea World.  I really enjoyed all the Christmas decorations that were out.  And having two days at the park made it so we could take our time and see everything.

Thanksgiving 2013

This year all my family spent Thanksgiving in our home.  It was a nice day.  We even got a break from the cooking to be able to play a game of Apples to Apples.

Dinner was lovely but watching Celeste eat her first solid food, mashed potatoes, was hilarious!

My dad with his brother and sister.  Only three of the six still living and they don't get together often.  It was so nice to have my uncle Gene (left) with us from Oregon and my aunt Cheryl, who is a flight attendant, to be off work for the holiday and with us.

Halloween

These day I can't get Mark to join in on the family theme but you can see that Collin and I are sailors and Celeste is in a hula skirt with a lei.  It's a South Pacific theme.  Here we are at the church party.

Collin in October

Mark took him out to practice golfing.

After months of trying to get him interested, Collin finally attempts to
write the number two.  I am super proud of it.  Ha ha.
