The First of Many Visits to the Zoo

Mark is convinced that Collin is going crazy being forced to spend so many hours couped up in our little house (ha ha) day after day.  Running the occasional errand with me is not enough so Mark is constantly encouraging play dates and has now purchased annual tickets to the Phoenix Zoo and the Children's Museum.  Monday following Easter Mark was given the day off of work so we went on a little family outing.  It was hot so we didn't last long before pooping out.

Later in the week Collin and I went again with Kelley and Logan.  The weather was beautiful!  We had a lot of fun (forgot the camera).

Old and New Traditions

Easter morning I went into the kitchen for breakfast and I realized that my family had a Easter morning breakfast tradition that I have neglected for 10 years or so.  Hot chocolate with a Peeps marshmallow and toast.  It took me back to the days when I woke up and found a chocolate bunny waiting for me.

The Easter Bunny left tracks up to the front door and at the end Collin found a special treat.
What the Easter bunny left in his basket.

Church was long for Collin but great for mom and dad, and then we headed over to Nana and Papa's to do some egg hunting with the cousins.

Time to Play!

Collin had a play date with his friend Jacob.  They met up at Matuku Island on Ray Rd.  It was a lot of fun but give it another year and it will be so much more for him.  He enjoyed just running around with all the commotion going on around him.
Collin goes down the slide all by himself and loves it!

It scared Collin a bit but the first time but we went down this fun slide twice! Yeeha!

 Doesn't this look fun?

Home Decor Update

I was looking around my downstairs and realized that I still didn't have any family pictures on the walls anywhere.  Shortly after I found this set of frames on sale in a Sunday advertisement and now I smile each time I pass it.  I love pictures of Collin!
