Ocean Escape

Each year we find ourselves heading to Oregon to enjoy the company
of my grandparents and the ocean.  We can't stay away.  After getting off the airplane we made our way to Multnomah falls.  Collin seemed to be mesmerized by it.

The next day we visited with my grandparents.  Grandma turns 80 in December and grandpa turns 95 in November.  Collin loved riding on grandma's walker and grandma was willing to comply.

After spending a day and a half visiting we took a detour out to the coast for a few days.  I picked up this new hat at a local market (love it!).  We picked up some firewood and smores and spent two nights watching the sunset while eating roasted marshmallows on the beach.

 The place where we stayed.
The view.

In Newport we visited the Sea Lions and Collin was afraid of all their barking.

We had our fun on the coast so we headed back to the grandparent's place to visit some more.  It's always a great opportunity to hear old stories and get to know them better.

They all look like they are having fun. I'm so glad that Dad and Mom are getting a chance to get to know Collin.
