Bon Voyage!

On November 7th we boarded the Norwegian Spirit for a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Leaving the port

Some of the entertainment. This was Broadway night and they ended with a segment on Momma Mia.

Our first stop was Costa Maya, Mexico.
We found ourselves a little spot on the beach and relaxed.

Back on the ship...loving the little pets waiting in the room each night.

2nd stop, Belize City, Belize. Took a bus tour through the city and then a ride out to the country where we went tubing through caves. Unfortunately we couldn't risk getting the camera wet so no more pics beyond getting off the bus.

That night we went to a murder mystery dinner. We weren't the killer and neither of us figured it out. Still fun.

3rd stop was Roatan, Honduras. We met this couple from Utah on the ship while tubing in Belize and decided to go together to pay a taxi to take us around the island.
These are coconuts

We stopped at a local dive for some lunch right on the beach. I just got something they called a cheeseburger but Mark enjoyed some local food.

That night was one of our favorite nights on the ship!
Beautiful chocolate artwork
Lots of ice sculptures and tons of chocolate desserts (Mark forgot to get any pictures of those)

Our last stop was in Cozumel where we took a ferry to the mainland and then a bus to this Mayan ruin.
The doorway to the ruin.

These little guys were running all over the place and would sometimes stop and pose for a picture.

At the top of these stairs more then 2,000 kids were sacrificed (usually around 12 years old).

Once last day at sea and we were headed back home. Going to miss all the amazing food!
