Last weekend my mom, sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, friend and I spent a full day at the Renaissance Festival. Its always a good time but this year was better then most. Here we are with the head guy from Tartanic, a Scottish band we watch every year.
My friend Carly and I while waiting for the show to start.This was a new act, Barely Balanced. It was a mix of acrobat stunts, juggling and comedy. We all enjoyed some good laughs. If you can't tell, she is juggling butcher knives while he is balancing on a plastic pipe.
This is London Broil, our all time favorite show at the festival. They were hysterical as always.
The joust to the death was even better then ever. This year they introduced new weapons and the show was well choreographed. To make it extra fun, we happened to be cheering for the knight who won (the guy on the left)!
This is my sister and brother-in-law who spent the day with us. What a sport they both were, he put on the skirt (I mean kilt) and she kept up all day with just six weeks left till delivery!

On our way out we stop for a picture with the Count. It was a magical day witnessing loads of talent, laughing constantly and being treated like a lady of the court. I didn't want to go home.
